The Department of Immigration, Nepal provides a Tourist Visa on Arrival facility at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) and major land border entry points. The process is quick and simple, though queues may be longer during peak tourist seasons.

If you prefer to avoid waiting lines, you may also obtain a Nepal Tourist Visa in advance from a Nepalese Embassy or Consulate in your country.
